FLYING TO TAMPICO

Tampico is served by General Francisco Javier Mina International Airport which is conveniently located near the heart of the city. If you're coming from Austin, there are multiple ways to fly into Tampico. The most common ones are United, via Houston, and Aeromexico, via Mexico City. We have seen some great fares at this point, so if you find something within the price range below, we recommend booking. We suggest using Google Flights or Hopper to track flights for the best prices. Historically, flights from Austin are $350-$500. Flights from Mexico City are $100-$150. Flights from Monterrey are $80-$120.

Arenas del Mar Hotel

Arenas del Mar hotel is located in front of the beach and it will be the venue for the welcome party for out-of-towner guests on Friday, Nov. 11. It offers a beach club, restaurants, two swimming pools, and a fitness center. A hotel block has been reserved for guests. Nightly rates below include taxes: - Standard Room: $72.50 USD per night (Two queen size beds or one king-size bed) - Suite Room: $107.50 USD per night (Two queen size beds or one king-size bed, living room, microwave, and mini-fridge) - Master Room: $180 USD per night (For six people. One room with a king-size bed, one room with two queen-size beds, living room, microwave, and mini-fridge) Transportation will be provided to and from the reception of this hotel. Details to come.

House Or Rental

AIRBNB

If you choose airbnb, we recommend staying in Velamar — a neighborhood with modern luxury apartments at the beach (and a 10 min drive to the welcome party venue). This is a good option if you’re staying with a group of +6 people, prices are usually $200 - $250 a night. Please let Malú or Zach know if you’re renting an Airbnb, we’ll provide transportation to the ceremony and back.
