Co-Matron of Honor / Officiant
Emily and Brittany have known each other since preschool and they went to middle school, high school, and college together. Brittany has always been taller.
Groomswoman
Eric and Angela have known each other since grad school and that's it. Angela has always been helping prevent Eric from making poor choices. However, when placed together, Eric and Angela have a tendency of being pretty dumb. Both have master's degrees and prescribe medications for a living.
Co-Matron of Honor
When Dara asks how you're doing, she wants to hear the real answer. An underrated trait in a friend.
Groomsman
When Jake asks how you're doing, he wants to find a way to tell you how the Chicago Cubs are awesome. An overrated trait in a friend.
Bridesman
Amos is lucky enough to be Dara's husband and Emily's friend since high school. He is responsible for introducing Emily to 50% of her bridal party.
Groomsman
Mike is lucky enough to be Eric's friend since freshman year of college. He is responsible for introducing Eric to the concept of washing dishes, and introducing Eric to 50% of his life skills. (Emily is the other 50%)
Bridesman
Emily almost didn't know John - he lived in London until junior year and if it hadn't been for Amos and a well-timed walk to English class, who knows where each would be today.
Groomsman
Eric almost didn't know Jason - but then, around 3 years old, Eric gained a sense of object permanence and realized that the slightly larger human is his brother. They have been stressing about the St. Louis Cardinals ever since.
Bridesmaid
Emily and Kerry lived in the same hall freshman year at Penn, in the same house the rest of college, and in the same city up until she and her husband Derek moved across the pond from New York to Hoboken, NJ last year. Emily eventually forgave Kerry for this obvious geographical transgression.
