FAQs

The Wedding Website of Carrie Winiker and Matthew Lineham
Question

How do I RSVP? It's only online?! What is this, 2022?

Answer

Yes, we are doing online RSVPs via our website (the one you are on!) To reply online, please use the RSVP tab above. When on the RSVP page, please enter the first and last name to which your invitation was addressed. If attending, a dropdown will appear to ask you to select your dinner entree preference. If you have any issues accessing the RSVP page, please feel free to text Carrie at 732-757-1818. If you prefer to text your RSVP, that's fine too. We're chill about it. We'll just ask you to indicate your dinner entree preference when you do.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Casual Cocktail/ Semi-Formal: Look your best! For the women: Cocktail dresses/ dressy jumpsuits are recommended. The ceremony is on grass, so maybe re-think stilettos! For the men: Jackets are of course an option, but not required – you do you! It'll be summer, so we want you to look sharp but comfortable!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a guest?

Answer

We have addressed every specific name of those invited on each invite envelope. If we have indicated your guest's name on your invitation, then yes. If not, we ask that it is just you.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

As much as we love small humans (especially yours), we want our wedding to be your day/evening off! With the exception of children in our immediate family, we kindly ask to keep Saturday festivities an adult affair. If you are traveling with kids, please arrange child care.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

For dietary restrictions please contact us at your earliest convenience.

Question

What is the COVID protocol?

Answer

We have confirmed that 99% of all guests attending are fully vaccinated, and the very limited few who are not will be providing a negative COVID test result. As of now, all event staff will be wearing masks. If that changes, we will update that here. As we're on year 3 of covid, we encourage you to take whatever precautions you personally need to in order to feel comfortable (wearing a mask, taking a test prior to attending, etc.) We love you all and want everyone to be safe while dancing the day-into-night away!

Question

Is there Uber or Lyft around there?

Answer

NO! There is no Uber or Lyft in the Catskills – it is not a thing here! We ask that you arrange for a local taxi service or arrange for someone to DD.

Question

Is there parking at Bearsville Theater?

Answer

Yes! Plenty!

Question

Is there WiFi?

Answer

Service is pretty rough and spotty all around the Catskills (we actually live in a dead zone at our house!) However, there surprisingly is service at Bearsville Theater!

Question

I’m flying into an NYC airport. What are my options to get to The Catskills?

Answer

A rental car is the only way to get directly up there. You can also take a bus from Port Authority and either rent a car once you get up or find friends to carpool with for the weekend! With a lot of guests coming from the same areas, a car pool is also a great option! Let us know if you have any issues and we'll be more than happy to help or give suggestions.

Question

Will I see deer or bears when I'm there?

Answer

There's always a chance! We truly do ask that if you are driving, PLEASE be careful and cautious and look out for deer. We see deer on the side of the road almost every single time we drive in the summer, so please be alert!

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

Our reception ends at 5:30pm, but we plan to continue our celebration at one of our favorite local taverns (Tinker Street Tavern) for those that wish to keep the party going! Tinker Street Tavern is in the same parking lot as Bearsville Theater, so just walk right over!
