Hotel

Hotel Frieden

200 Pillbergstraße
Pill, Tirol 6136, Austria

Located just 30 minutes outside of Innsbruck, Austria, Hotel Frieden is the main stage for our celebration! Welcome hour on October 10th, as well as the ceremony and reception to follow on October 11th will all take place on the hotel property. Guests are encouraged to fly in on Friday October 9th or early morning on October 10th, and are welcome to check in as early as Friday afternoon to settle into their European adventure. Guests will check out of the hotel on Monday, October 12th, after joining us for a farewell brunch.

Flight

Munich Airport (MUC)

Munich Airport will offer the most options for direct flights through cities like Toronto/NYC (for our Northern friends) or Charlotte (for our Southern friends). For folks booking through Lufthansa, options are available to bundle your flight with a shuttle service to the Innsbruck area! For folks interested in renting a car, you'll enjoy a scenic 2 hour drive from Munich to Pill. For folks who aren't interested in renting a car or taking a bus, there is another easy public transportation option available! From the Munich Airport, you would take a 2 hour train directly from the airport towards Innsbruck, stopping at the station in Jenbach, Austria. From there, we can help arrange a taxi to take you to Hotel Frieden!

Flight

Innsbruck Airport (INN)

Innsbruck Airport (INN) is the closest international airport, roughly 40 minutes from the venue. But don't worry! You're in for a beautiful ride on your way to celebrate. Flights into the Innsbruck Airport are only possible through select locations. For our US friends who are hoping to fly right into the mountains instead of taking a train from Munich, we would encourage you to explore flights from the US to Innsbruck with a connection in London.

Rental Car

From the Airport

Our venue is located on a mountain, which can make walking to local attractions a bit more challenging. If you are hoping to explore the area while visiting, we would recommending teaming up with friends/family to rent a car if shuttles/taxis aren't your speed. Rentals are available at the Innsbruck and Munich Airports. Here is what you need to rent a car: - A valid US Driver's License - An International Driver's Permit (IDP). This is something you can get before you travel for roughly $20 at your nearest AAA/AATA. Only takes about 15 minutes!

Shuttle

Taxi Inntal Jenbach

October 9, 2026 12:00 am

Taxi Inntal Jenbach is a great resource for anyone who needs a taxi/shuttle service once you've arrived in the Innsbruck/Jenbach area! Phone number: +43 650 4902121

Tips & Tricks for Traveling in Europe

- Austria uses the Euro (€). Cards are widely accepted, but carrying some cash for small purchases or tips is handy. To avoid excess fees, it can be best to do this at your own bank before you travel! - Austria uses Type F plugs and 220 volt electricity, so bring plug adapters and voltage converters if needed! - TO OUR LOVELY LADIES: If you are packing any hair irons/dryers/etc., confirm they are dual voltage, or if you need a voltage converter to use them in Europe so they don't get damaged! - German is the official language, but English is widely understood — learning a few phrases (like “Guten Tag” and “Danke”) is appreciated. - Shops often have shorter hours than in the U.S., and many are closed on Sundays. - In Austria, 112 is the general emergency number; 144 is medical and 133 is the police. - If traveling by train, it can be wise to buy in advance to avoid day-of travel up-charges
