Which hotel should I book for the weekend?

Answer

All rooms at Hotel Frieden are reserved for our wedding weekend, and we are really hoping to have as many folks as possible stay right here at the venue with us! Answer "Yes" to each night you'd like to have a room reserved at Hotel Frieden on the RSVP (and "No" if you plan to stay elsewhere!). Lauren and Tyler will reach out to you to confirm stay at Hotel Frieden. While exact costs will vary dependent on your room/number of people staying, you can anticipate roughly €220 per couple, per night. Once confirming with Lauren and Tyler, no further actions or payment will be required from you until checkout on October 12th! Check-in at the hotel is open to guests any time after 12:00pm on Friday the 9th.

Yes! There is parking for 20 cars on site, and plenty of street parking available if we have more to accommodate.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

In typical Tyler and Lauren fashion, we will be outside! The ceremony will take place outdoors in the neighboring pasture, with the dinner/party inside the hotel to follow. Plan footwear accordingly!

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

While it's hard to predict exactly what mood the mountains will be in come October, we are anticipating typical Fall weather with highs in the mid-60s during the day, and lows in the mid-40s at night.

Unless otherwise noted on your invitation, please refrain from having extra pals tag along.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

While we won't be serving snacks during cocktail hour, we plan to keep it quick and head right into a 4-course plated dinner where you will enjoy will fresh breads and spreads, a summer salad, traditional Austrian wedding soup ("Hochzeitssuppe"), your choice between Steak/Fish/Vegetarian main entrees, and a tiramisu bar (Classic, Strawberry, or Matcha!).

Yes! You're traveling 1/2 way around the world to celebrate with us - let's make it a party!

Where should we send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! We kindly request no physical gifts. If you wish, contributions to our honeymoon are welcome, and we’ll have a card box and QR code available.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Since most folks will be staying directly at the venue, it shouldn't require too much prep time! But we recommend heading down to the ceremony location no later than 3:30-3:45 to snag your seat for the ceremony at 4:00. Keep your eye out for the drink trolley to grab a beverage before we begin!

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Yes! Join us for the welcome hour in the Hotel Stube on Saturday at 5:00pm.

Am I allowed to take photos during your ceremony?

Answer

This will be an UNPLUGGED ceremony. Please plan to set your phone on Do Not Disturb and keep it tucked away. We have an awesome photographer coming to capture the day with us, and promise to share the photos with you! Once the ceremony is over, go wild!
