There is lots to do here at the venue! Whether you're looking to enjoy time relaxing in the sauna, swimming in the pool, playing pickle ball on the sport court, or sitting on your balcony with a good book - the world is our oyster right here on site!
Just a 5 minute walk from the venue is the "Kellerjochbahn" - a double chairlift to high altitudes (around 1,887m). It has stunning views of the Inn Valley and Alps, and leads to diverse terrain for ALL skill levels, alpine huts for snacking and enjoying the view, and various trails for exploring (including the historic Kellerjoch Chapel a bit further up!). We absolutely recommend adventuring up to an alpine hut for a beverage or snack while you visit us in Austria! It's one of our favorite things to do in Europe and truly a special experience.
15 minutes from the venue is the "Swarovski Kristallwelten", or "Swarovski Crystal Worlds". It's a museum that was created by Swarovski in 1995 to celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary. It includes a series of exhibition spaces, called “Chambers of Wonder,” where artists and designers from around the world showcase crystal in creative and unexpected ways. The coolest part? You begin your tour by walking through the head of a grassy Giant with a waterfall flowing from its mouth, which leads into the indoor exhibits. Outside, you can explore landscaped gardens featuring art installations, a mirror pool, and play areas.
Located 35 minutes from the venue is the Old Town - "AltStadt" - of Innsbruck. Head to Maria-Theresien-Straße to find a mix of shops, cafes, and cultural landmarks that reflect the city's heritage! Continue straight onto Herzog-Friedrich-Straße to enjoy more shops & neat architecture.
One of our first adventures in Europe! If you’re visiting the city of Innsbruck, the Nordkette Cable Car is a really nice way to get up into the mountains without much effort. It takes you straight from the city to beautiful Alpine views, with the Alps, the Karwendel Nature Park, and Innsbruck spread out below. The journey is smooth and scenic, starting with the Hungerburg funicular and continuing on the Seegrube and Hafelekar cable cars. By the time you reach the top—over 2,200 meters up—you’re at the “Top of Innsbruck,” surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. It’s an easy, beautiful way to experience the Alps!
Okay, this one is a little further, but too incredible not to mention. Located 1.5 hours from the venue/an hour from Innsbruck is the Aqua Dome. The Aqua Dome is a modern thermal spa and hotel resort in the Ötztal valley, Tyrol, Austria, known for its futuristic architecture featuring large, futuristic "floating" bowl pools filled with mineral-rich water, extensive sauna world, and a family-friendly water park, all set against stunning Alpine scenery, offering relaxation, wellness, and activities for all ages. The drive is incredible, the food is delicious, the pools/saunas are so fun to explore, and the scenery is stunning. We can't recommend it enough!
