Fairmont Austin

The Fairmont is a new hotel in downtown Austin, steps away from Rainey Street and many other downtown attractions. It is easily accessible by ride sharing services from the airport, about a 20 minute drive. We suggest that you book your hotel as soon as possible, as there is a University of Texas home football game that weekend. Guest rooms are reserved at a special rate of $259/night for both Friday and Saturday evenings. Rooms must be booked by August 29th, to qualify for the group rate. To book, please call 1-888-240-7773, and identify yourself as part of the Welch/Pesce Wedding Brunch & Room Block. **IMPORTANT** As of 7/11/2019, the Fairmont is completely sold out for the weekend of our wedding. This is the hotel as a whole, not just our wedding block. We suggest searching for other hotels in the downtown area, or using services such as Airbnb for accommodations if you have not yet booked your stay. We will keep this updated if there are any openings.

Flight

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport

Flying in and out of Austin would be most convenient for the weekend. You can easily use ride sharing services to and from the airport. If you don't mind a road trip, the San Antonio Airport is about 1 1/2 hours from the hotel, and the Houston Airport (IAH) is about 3 hours from the hotel.
