Hatchet is our favorite coffee in Boone, and this is their sister store in Jefferson. Yummy pastries and really good espresso.
There is amazing gravel/road/mountain biking around the area. To rent a bike, we recommend either Magic Cycles or Boone Bike in Boone.
The New River is not new at all -- it's the second oldest river in the WORLD. And really fun to float on! Enjoy a sunny river day by kayak or tube.
