Now, we totally get that you want to look amazing and pack efficiently. Below, we’ve included suggested attire for each event to help make planning (and suitcase space!) easier. Let’s start with what not to wear: please avoid white for all events—that one’s reserved for the bride🤍 🍷 Dress to the Nines for Pizza & Wine Welcome Dinner Dress Code: “Play Pretend Rich” We’re kicking off our wedding celebration in full glam—think old money elegance with a cheeky wink. Channel your inner aristocrat, heiress, or dashing rogue. This is your moment to play pretend like you’ve just stepped out of: ✨ The Great Gatsby ✨ Beauty and the Beast's enchanted castle ✨ A Bridgerton ballroom (but with a wine glass in hand and pizza on your plate) The Vibe: Glamorous. Romantic. Slightly ridiculous. A little extra (in the best way). Feathers, faux pearls, opera gloves, bowties, brooches, slick hair, red lips, costume jewelry, vintage hats, velvet smoking jackets, or anything that says I summer in the south of France, darling. Yes to: – Statement accessories (pearls, gloves, feathers, fans, cigars—real or prop!) – Dapper suits or tuxedos with flair (think velvet, white dinner jackets, dramatic lapels) – Dramatic gowns or cocktail dresses in luxe fabrics (satin, lace, brocade) – Romantic silhouettes (puff sleeves, corset tops, ruffles, A-line skirts) – Vintage-inspired makeup & hair (finger waves, bold lips, soft curls) – A sense of humor and willingness to lean into the fantasy No need for: – Real diamonds (unless you really want to) – Modern minimalism (save that for another day) – Full-on cosplay (unless it’s amazing—then go for it) Let’s dress like we’ve inherited a château… and are hosting a pizza party on the lawn 🍕🍷

If you'll be staying at the Chateau with us then we recommend renting a car in Bordeaux and driving directly to the venue. If you'll be staying in Saint Emilion we recommend either renting a car or taking the bus to Saint Emilion. The Saint Emilion train station does NOT take you into the village center. It's about a 20min walk from the village and the roads are uphill and unpaved. Uber and Lyft is not popular in Saint Emilion, hence why we will have a shuttle or recommend a car. If you prefer not to rent a car please take the bus from Bordeaux for your own convenience.
