Black Butte Ranch
There is no shortage of activities at Black Butte Ranch! Aside from being the location for our wedding, this is a vacation destination for Oregonians and out-of-staters alike. Within BBR alone, you can explore the bike trails and golf courses, head out fishing or horseback riding, or relax at the pool and spa.
Smith Rock State Park
Smith Rock State Park is located near the communities of Redmond and Terrebonne. This is a world-class rock climbing destination, but also great for hiking in the summer as well.
Get Outside!
Central Oregon is incredibly beautiful, and we recommend enjoying the mountains and all of the surrounding trails as much as possible. I have added a link from our wedding venue's website that lists some of their recommended trails in the surrounding area.
Bend, OR
The city of Bend (where Kate grew up) is about 40 minutes from Black Butte Ranch. If you have time to pass through, it is home to some incredible breweries, scenic trails, and tasty restaurants.
