This hotel is nestled equidistant between the South and West sides and is within walking distance to so many of our hometown's most enjoyably unique spots! At the heart of Downtown's East Village, this hotel is right across the street from famed Zombie Burger, down the street from the original Raygun store, and several excellent bars like Blazing Saddles, Iowa Taproom, and UpDown.

Ramada by Wyndham Des Moines Airport

This is halfway between the Ceremony and Reception locations, and very conveniently located a few blocks from the airport for our out-of-state guests (also just a few blocks from the Holiday Inn!). This hotel also has a new BBQ restaurant attached for easy dining and down the road from Johnny's Steakhouse for more formal dinning.

This is halfway between the Ceremony and Reception locations, and very conveniently located across the street from the airport for our out-of-state guests. Fun Fact: This was the location of many fall and winter birthday sleepovers for Anna's friends over the years due to the most novel of cold-weather activities--an indoor pool!

Travel Note

Reception Parking

Please note that Rollins Mansion has INCREDIBLY limited parking, so we highly recommend parking at the church/school and arranging a carpool to the reception. Should that not work, a shuttle between venues will be provided by Keck Parking, or just Uber/Lyft the short drive between Christ the King and the mansion! If you carpool, use the shuttle, or a ride share service, please park in the school lot so the parishioners of the 3pm mass have a place to park.
