Anna and Vince (sorta) met when he transferred to Christ the King Catholic School in the 4th Grade. They did not interact much until Vince asked Anna to the 8th Grade Formal Dance in the spring, and that fall he asked her to "go see a movie sometime" after 8th period science at Dowling Catholic High School. Ten years, many miles and plane tickets, two degrees, four years of military service, and one fake-mustachioed kiss, Vince proposed to Anna at midnight on New Years Eve. They became legally bound in a small civil ceremony in May before heading back to California where Vince and Anna are now enjoying life with their dog, Bruce, and cat, Carl. Now it is time to fly home, gather ALL their friends and family to throw another (bigger and longer) ceremony and reception, and celebrate becoming the newest Mr. and Mrs. McGuire.
Vince and Anna love to watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine together on Saturday mornings before breakfast. So much so that Vince requested to use the catchphrase "toit nups" from the show, as Jake and Amy are a stellar example of such a fun-filled relationship beginning from a close friendship. And Andy Samberg is hilarious. Watch at the beginning of this clip if you want to learn exactly how to say it, because we will be all day! https://twitter.com/nbcbrooklyn99/status/930812645988372485?lang=en
