WE CAN'T WAIT

This all started as many a New York romance tends to do...on the internet. Well, a dating app to be precise. Enter: Bumble. Victoria and Keith were both singling and mingling in October of 2016 when they came across one another's profiles. He saw her pretty smile, she saw his good looks (and golden retriever puppy), and the rest was history. A couple of quick vetting questions regarding Victoria's music taste (Phil Collins, Meatloaf, and The Eagles) produced answers good enough to seal the deal for date number one. As the date got underway, score cards were high for both Victoria and Keith as they surreptitiously reported back to the guys and girls at home. Something from Victoria's recount that instantly won the girls over wasn't Keith's rugged good looks, his height, or his boyish charm - but his keychain. Keith had (and still has) a miniature figure of Mader, from Disney Pixar's "Cars" fixed to his car keys, and it is something Victoria remembers about their first date to this very day. It was a disarmingly endearing discovery, and the anecdote immediately triggered swoons from any female in the vicinity when it was re-told. Unbeknownst to Victoria, her drink order was the only thing needed to convince Keith's BFF Chris of her eligibility. Apparently a like for brown liquor goes over very well with Sergeant Perez, who upon hearing that she'd ordered Bulleit Bourbon on the rocks (about fifteen minutes into the date) promptly told Keith to "marry her". Well, as luck would have it, about six years and two months after that first date, Keith intends to follow through on Chris's recommendation - and Victoria intends to say "I Do" to Dolega.
