Question

What do you mean when you say “formal attire”?

Answer

If you look through our Google search history you’ll find a lot of “wedding guest attire- explained” searches. We feel you! Let us help paint a picture… Are floor length gowns required? No, ma’am! While floor length dresses are certainly welcome, midi and ankle length dresses are totally appropriate. Do men have to wear tuxedos? Nope! Any suit is acceptable. Would you like men to wear ties? Yes, please! If there was ever a time to whip out a bow tie, this is it! However, all ties are welcome. Anything the ladies should know when it comes to shoes? Our wedding venue is entirely outside. There will be points during the ceremony and cocktail hour when you’re walking through or standing in grass and gravel. With that said, we recommend a chunky heel or other shoes fit for the terrain. Our reception is in a tent with a wood floor. Overall, we encourage our guests to lean into the Charleston aesthetic! Think light and bright colors, florals and texture! Still need help? Question

I’m trying to reserve a room at one of the listed hotels, but I’m encountering issues. Tips on how to proceed?

Answer

If you encounter any problems while attempting to reserve a room at one of the hotels where we have reserved a room block, please feel free to reach out to Greg or Maggie. There is always the chance the room block has filled up, which we are happy to check for you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out as we want to ensure there isn’t just a glitch.

Question

How do I RSVP and when do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Our RSVPs will be collected digitally, so you won't need to mail anything. Please RSVP by April 12, 2025, via the RSVP tab here on the site.

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our venue is completely outdoors and may not be fit for young children. We deeply appreciate your understanding.

Question

I have dietary restrictions, can I make a special request?

Answer

We will have delicious vegetarian options available at cocktail hour and dinner; however, please contact Maggie or Greg with any additional dietary restrictions for yourself, family or date and we will do our best to accommodate!

Question

I didn't see anywhere to put in my dinner selection. Did I miss something?

Answer

Nope! We're excited to have a station-style dinner at our wedding with various options, so guests can choose what they'd like to eat when they are there.

Question

Do you recommend we make reservations for meals while we're in town or do most places accept walk-ins?

Answer

We'd hate for you to miss an opportunity to experience the Holy City's magnificent culinary scene. We highly recommend making reservations at least two weeks in advance, especially since it will be a holiday weekend. Most places take reservations via Resy or OpenTable. We have a few recommendations on the "Things To Do" tab, but if you're looking for more inspiration, we recommend consulting Eater Carolinas' website for Charleston's can't-miss staples and newest hot spots.

Question

I'm in the wedding party. Should my guest come to the rehearsal?

Answer

We're so excited to have you and your guest join us at the rehearsal dinner on Friday! However, we ask that only wedding party members attend the actual rehearsal.

Question

Is everyone invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

While we would love to have all of our guests join us, our rehearsal dinner venue is small and has a very limited capacity so this event will be reserved for the wedding party and immediate family. Those invited will receive a paper invitation. We can't wait to greet everyone and kick off the celebrations at the welcome party!

Question

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes! For the rehearsal dinner, there are several designated spots outside of the restaurant as well as street parking. For the welcome party, there are several designated spots in front of the venue and ample spaces under the overpass beside the building. Our wedding venue has plenty of space for parking; However, we have arranged for shuttles to take all of our guests back and forth from the wedding. Please see the transportation tab for more info!

Question

What kind of weather should we expect?

Answer

The end of May in Charleston usually brings highs of 80/85 degrees and lows around 70 degrees, with humidity on the higher side.
