We loved going on a 3 hour boat ride to see Humpback whales last year! October is a great time of year to see Humpback whales, Blue whales, and Orcas!

Hike Point Lobos State Natural Reserve!

Hike Point Lobos State Natural Reserve!

Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA 93923

This is one of the most famous hiking spots on California's coastline- and it's less than 15 minutes from downtown Monterey! Check out All Trails to find list of some of the most stunning 1.5-7 mile hikes in this area! Parking can get crowded, but the view is worth it! <3

Explore, shop, and eat in Carmel-By-The-Sea!

Explore, shop, and eat in Carmel-By-The-Sea!

Carmel Beach, Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA 93921

Visit Carmel Beach or wander downtown! Parking: Park in the Sunset Center Public Parking Lot (8th Avenue &, Mission St, Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA) or in one of the downtown parking garages. Food: Eat at Alvarado Street Brewery or Jeju Kitchen- we love that little shopping center! Adventure: Walk down to Carmel Beach for a gorgeous view. Or drive around the Carmel Beach Walk viewpoint and park at Carmel River State Beach for a wander. Can't find beach parking? Try Monastery Beach- it's usually less crowded! You can also check out Refuge Spa for a chill and quietly restful spa day! There are so many gorgeous places to visit in this area. <3
