We're getting married!

Our matchmaking friends, the Wotkyns, invited Ben to Colorado to meet Kristen near Winter Park in 2021. Both of us had heard how "great a match" we would be. Over the next few years, we became friends- Ben visiting Colorado in summer 2022 and joining in on volleyball leagues, pool days, paddle boarding, and random adventures. This gave us a chance to get to know each other over time- and appreciate each other's humor, hobbies, and values. During Ben's fourth of July visit to Denver in 2024, we decided to take the risk of becoming "more than friends". And what an incredible decision that turned out to be! Since then, we have traveled across the country, hiked in national parks, danced under the stars, and learned how life is sweeter when adventures are shared together. Kristen officially moved to California in summer 2025, ending the challenge of long-distance, and was welcomed by Ben's wonderful family. Ben proposed in November 2025, and we decided to say yes to spending the rest of our lives together. We are very excited to celebrate our special day with each of you- and share one of our favorite places- the beaches near Monterey and Carmel-By-The-Sea!
