Matron of Honor
Samantha and I became best friends when she moved down the street from me in 8th grade. From singing Eminem in her bedroom, speaking to spirits through our Ouija Board, to spending most of our free time at the neighborhood park, we were always together. My first time renting a house was with Sam and we only grew closer... Boy did we have fun! Now even though distance separates us, we have, and will always be there when we need each other the most. I am so thrilled to have her stand by my side at the beginning of this new chapter in my life! I know Sam will be the one to constantly make sure we are all laughing and having a great time throughout the big night!!!
Best Man
Brandon is my brother; my best man. I have always looked up to him despite him being the younger brother. Growing up we were always fighting but, as we got older we grew to be the best of friends. We have always looked out for each other so, it only makes sense he looks out for me on my wedding day.
Maid of Honor
Olivia has been such a huge blessing in my life. We started out as co-workers and quickly became best friends. She is strong, smart, and has helped me become the confident, brave woman I am today. Sometimes I feel like she knows me better than I know myself. At my wedding, you’re sure to find Olivia wiping beer stains off my wedding dress and making sure I have my prettiest smile in all my photos!
Groomsman
I met Phil through his brother Nick. Originally Phil was just my annoying roommate but, eventually we became best friends in what would be our "college" days. Phil has always had my back and treated me like a brother. He doesn't just throw the parties. He is the party!
Bridesman
James, my oldest brother, and I get closer every single day! I remember when I was really young, I pretended to be a puppy for months (that’s right; a puppy not a kitty haha). But, I wasn’t just any puppy... I was James’s puppy! Our friendship deepened when I got to middle school and he went away to college. We texted and “instant messaged” constantly and I told him things that I never told anyone else. He was always there for me and that rings true even more to this day. Thank you, James, for supporting me in every endeavor I choose! Thank you for all your sincere advice. But most importantly, thank you for making Derek feel like a big part of the family. Now let’s party!
Groomsman
When I was 10 years old, our parents got married and Blake became a part of my life. I remember staying up all night with him, playing video games. I don't like calling him a step-brother because he is true family to me. He is my brother! I’ve been so lucky to watch him become the kind, funny, and humble man he is today. Don’t tell Rachel, but Blake introduced me to my first true love... Sushi!
Bridesman
I’ve known John my whole life. Growing up, he was my best friend. I always tagged along when he went over to his friends’ houses and encouraged him to include me in, well, just about everything he did! I remember when we went to high school together, he made it very clear that once we walked through those doors, he did not know me. But, the one time I really needed him, he was by my side, throwing that boy against the locker for me. Thanks for that, John! Now, he will be standing by my side on the happiest day of my life. Make sure you take note of his rad dance moves; they are undoubtedly contagious!
Groomsman
Tony has been my best friend since high school. Inventor of DBABS, and author of "You Won't". We have gone on many crazy adventures together. Tony once brought the Captain Jack Sparrow as his wingman to a New Years Eve party. He will definitely be the best and worst dancer on the dance floor.
Officiant
I don’t even know where to start, when it comes to Luke! Growing up, Luke was my brother, my father, my mother, and my friend. He stepped into any roll that I needed him to be. To this day, whenever I have a problem, day or night, I know I can call Luke and he will be there in a drop of a dime. He used to call me his “lil monkey”. When I was little and had nightmares, he always let me crawl into his bed; I felt protected and would fall back asleep. Luke helped me get my first job and get into college. Let’s not forget, he introduced me to my first power hour! I am so honored to have him officiate our wedding and I look forward to hearing his words of wisdom. Prepare for Luke to make you laugh and cry as we say “I do!”
