Glacier National Park, otherwise known as the “Crown of the Continent”, stretches across thousands of miles of snow-capped Rocky Mountain peaks in Northwest Montana. The Glacier backcountry is a land of shining mountains, sweeping alpine views and aquamarine glacial waters you simply have to experience. And, what better way to do that than on horseback?
Soar high above ski slopes, over ravines and through the trees on Montana’s longest zip line tour. Experience more than a mile of flying on six separate lines stretching as long as 1,900 ft. across and up to 300 ft. above the forest floor. If the exhilaration doesn’t take your breath away, the views will. We will be adding a zip-lining event before the wedding and would love anyone who is able to join. Date and time TBD, but we will make sure to give plenty of notice once we get closer to the big day!
Along the southern boundary to Glacier National Park, the Middle Fork of the Flathead River offers the best whitewater rafting in Montana. Rafting will be the perfect addition to your Montana vacation! The Flathead River is protected as a “Wild and Scenic” river ensuring that it will remain free-flowing and untamed. The Wild and Scenic Middle Fork of the Flathead River offers white-knuckle rafting through the John F. Stevens Canyon. These rafting adventures feature Class II-III rapids while enjoying the majestic mountain views of Glacier National Park.
