‘Asha’ means hope. Asha for Education is a worldwide, entirely volunteer-run, group formed to catalyze socio-economic change through education of underprivileged children. As a volunteer over the past several years, Uji's dad has built student and teacher curriculum, graded many many papers, worked in Asha's schools, recruited and trained new teachers to support their own rural communities, partnered with major donors, and so much more.
