Travel to Ariyakudi

This is our travel day so feel free to wear something casual but be sure it is also breathable and comfortable.

We recommend you fly into Chennai and book your preferred stay for your time and exploration of the city--we recommend the Taj Hotel. Train tickets will be passed out at the station. We also have a large group with many suitcases to load so please budget extra time to travel in traffic to Chennai Eggmore station at 5:15 pm on Tuesday, February 17th. We will drop a pin on Whatsapp for the exact location at the station to meet at on that day.

Marudhani Ceremony

4:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Wear something colorful and fit for a party that's easy to move in! We'd encourage wearing Indian clothes although this will be the less traditional of the events,Feel free to wear something Indian if you'd like--kurtas, lehengas, cholis, salwars, saris. This will be the less traditional attire of the events.

Wedding Ceremony

8:00 am - 12:00 pm

We encourage you to wear South Indian attire if you wish--saris, button-downs with slacks or vaashtis. Please try to avoid wearing red, white or black (except for pants/bottoms). Whatever you wear, think brightly colored but fit for the southern India heat. More details on traditional clothing can be found on the FAQs page.

This is a formal ceremony that will take place in the indoor/outdoor atrium of the home. We will begin at 6 am but guests trickle in around 8 am and can start with breakfast in the dining hall.
