Travel & Lodging
The nearest accommodations to our wedding venue will be short-term rental homes at Wintergreen Resort or in the Nellysford & Nelson County areas. If you prefer to stay in a hotel, the closest hotels will be in the Charlottesville, Waynesboro, or Staunton areas, about a 30-40 minute drive. We did not do any hotel blocking for our wedding.
If flying, the best & nearest major airport to fly into will be Richmond International Airport (RIC), and it is about a 2-hour drive to the wedding venue. Other airports to look into are the Lynchburg and Charlottesville airports, but they are smaller and more regional. Drive time from there is about an hour to the wedding venue.
