To receive premium fare alerts that include airline mistake fares there is an annual fee of $49. They usually post great deals to Alaska. Getting to Palmer

The venue is in Palmer, which is about an hour and a half from Anchorage Airport. There are car rental options, which we highly recommend reserving in advance to get the most out of visiting Alaska. Four-wheel drive is not necessary for the majority of public roads. Public transportation outside of Anchorage is very limited.

Rent a car

We highly recommend you rent a car if you are staying in Alaska for more than a few days and want to have the freedom to explore. That being said, we do understand that rental cars are very expensive in Alaska in July so in order to help you all celebrate with us we have rented a van to shuttle guests between the airport and the property/hotels and airbnbs on Thursday and Friday, the 21-22nd. This will also be available to bring people to all events taking place on the property throughout the weekend. There will be a planned outing on Saturday with the shuttle as well several cars available for more people to join. The shuttle will be available to take people back to the airport until Tuesday. For those that might be arriving on Saturday or leaving later than Tuesday, separate arrangements can be made. Please let us know when you will be arriving and leaving for this to be coordinated prior to your arrival.

Bus transport is limited

The only bus to Palmer leaves Anchorage at 5:55AM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from Guesthouse Hotel and arrives at Tesoro Gas Station at 6:45AM. This location is about 15 minutes from our property. The price is $20 per person. If you are staying in Wasilla, there is public transit for $7 a person and three drop-off locations. http://www.valleytransitak.org/valley-anchorage-service/

Trains are limited

The railroad is an amazing option for sightseeing, but not to get to the wedding. The closest stop is in Wasilla.

Anchorage has more places to stay than in Palmer. There are many airbnbs, motels, hotels to choose from in Anchorage. Palmer has a couple of options for motels, AirBnB and lodges, and there are a couple choices nearby in Wasilla and other surrounding communities.
