Bears are less common, but if you take the time to venture on some trails, even in Anchorage, you might see bears. Most stores sell bear spray for anyone who wants take a hike. If you see a moose, don't walk toward it and don't let it walk too close to you. If a moose charges you, run away and get something big between you and them. They can kick you while they are facing you. Moose aren't the smartest animals, and they are aggressive, but they make for great photos. Stay safe!
