Airport Transfers

We recommend Bajaiogo for transfers between Queretaro International Airport (QRO) or Bajío International Airport (BJX) to San Miguel de Allende. You can book by emailing or calling them. They accept card payment over the phone or USD or Pesos cash in person. Ubers and taxis are also available, but possibly less reliable during late arrival times. The airports are about an hours and a half drive from San Miguel de Allende.

San Miguel de Allende is a small town and very walkable so you can’t go wrong with your location knowing most events will be close to “el jardin”, the main plaza. We recommend Expedia to search for exactly what you want. There are high end resort/spas and affordable casitas all around the main square.

It is perfectly safe to take the Green & White Cabs on the street anywhere you go. They do not use meters, so agree on a cost before you drive off. Fares increase after 10:00 p.m. Tips at bars and restaurants are typically 15%. Plugs are the same as in the US but the voltage is different (check your blow dryers and curling irons!)
