Trae and Stacie both share the love of adventure and travel, so when planning the wedding it felt right to choose a destination that they could explore with friends and family. San Miguel de Allende is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its charming colonial architecture and cobblestone streets. It was also voted #1 City in the World in 2024 by Travel + Leisure.

Our favorite story to tell! November 2022, Stacie was third wheeling her parents while Trae was third wheeling friends at a VetTix Carrie Underwood concert in Austin. Both were inspired to sneak into better seats, so eventually met dancing to Jesus Take the Wheel in row ten. He asked her out for a drink after the concert but she famously declined to drive home with her mom and dad. She asked for his number and within a week the Austin - San Antonio date drives had begun. Their distance travels grew during Trae's year in Alabama, giving them a new appreciation for the Southeast and each other. Now back home in Texas, they reflect on the 14 states and 8 countries they've explored together- knowing the biggest adventures are yet to come.
