Holiday Inn Asheville East

A nice alternative to the hotels downtown. It's very clean and pet friendly (Copley approves). It's several miles away from the wedding in a pretty, wooded area with views of the mountains. I'd recommend that you look at this hotel before you consider any of the hotels (including the other Holiday Inn) down on Hendersonville Road-- they are further away and that area is much more commercial and congested. A restored steel factory, this place is now a pricey, boutique hotel. We have a few friends that have stayed here before and highly recommend it. It's in walking distance to most restaurants and breweries. Good for couples that may want to turn this trip into a special weekend

Beautiful lodge-like hotel, but also pricey. Eric and I stayed here our first time in Asheville and loved it. It's just across the street from the Biltmore entrance

If you have access to a car, I'd suggest looking at areas outside of Asheville too-- Black Mountain, Hendersonville, and Chimney Rock are still within a reasonable drive from the festivities.

Asheville Regional Airport

This is the closest airport. While rather small, it has reasonably priced, direct flights from Orlando, Sanford, St. Pete/Clearwater, Sarasota, Austin, Chicago, Atlanta and LaGuardia on Allegiant, Spirit Airlines, United, American and Delta. You can also connect on any of these airlines through Charlotte or Atlanta. If you plan to use Uber or Lyft, AVL is about a 20 min ride to downtown Asheville. **Greenville/Spartanburg Airport is a little over an hour away if you are willing to drive. **The Sierra Nevada Brewery is just outside the airport-- this is a great stop after you land or before you leave.
