Question

Are there going to be any Covid restrictions?

Answer

We believe everyone should be vaccinated-- for your protection and ours. If you have chosen not to get vaccinated, we would appreciate you wearing a mask when in crowded areas. Buncombe County also has a mask mandate in place for all indoor spaces (the wedding is excused from this)-- it's unclear if this will still be in place in October, but we are presuming that it will be. The wedding and reception will mostly take place on a large outdoor terrace so there will be plenty of space and open air. The band and dancing will follow in a large, adjacent room-- people who chose to stay outside will still be close to the festivities (you'll also be closest to the bar!)

Question

I called the Omni Grove Inn and they said you don't have a wedding block there. Is there one?

Answer

No. As mentioned on the travel/accommodations tab, we were unable to get a room block at the Omni because it's peak season. There are other available hotels listed on our Travel page though.

Question

When should we travel to Asheville?

Answer

Whenever you want! We'd love for you to come up and spend more than just the wedding weekend in the area. October is truly one of the best times to visit. Please come up early and enjoy the area. We'll be having a Welcome Party on Thursday. Please stay for a few days!

I don'd like craft beer. What will I do in Asheville?

Answer

Please visit our Things to Do page. While we personally love the craft brew culture in Asheville, there are plenty of other things to do here! Check out the quirky town, the Biltmore grounds or explore the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. We love everything about the area and we hope you do too!
