Welcome to Belize!

Punta Gorda, Toledo District, Belize
Once you have arrived to Punta Gorda, you will be picked up by a Copal Tree staff member. They will take you straight to the lodge where you will get settled into your room and relax (15 minute drive). Have a drink, hang out and we will see you for dinner! Flights from Belize City to Punta Gorda operate daily with Tropic Air and it is a short 45 minute flight. Once you have made your international flight arrangements, please let Katie and Tom know and we will assist you in making the domestic flight arrangements for you.

Free Day

Pick an activity, explore Punta Gorda, or lay out by the pools and enjoy your first full day at Copal Tree. The lodge offers numerous on and off site activities, so if you would like to participate please let us know. For any questions on options available or to book your activites, please speak with Katie and Tom beforehand. Rehearsal Dinner
7:00 pm
Tropic Cocktail Attire
We request everyone to join us for a casual rehearsal dinner at 7:00 PM in the main lodge. Our photographer will be snapping pics throughout the evening so wear whatever you feel best in - for the gals think colorful sun dresses, wedges or sandals - for the guys feel free to throw on some nice shorts or pants and a light shirt and sandals! If you are not immediate family and would like to say a speech let us know and you can do so during dinner. Keep it short, otherwise Katie will most likely and indefinitely cut you off. Stick around after dinner for a night cap, bonfire and share some memories with the couple.

Wedding

Jungle wedding casual
Today is the day! For your morning and afternoon, feel free to lounge around the lodge or participate in a short activity. Everyone will be seated at 4:00 PM near the canopy suites at the palapa overlooking the jungle. Fresh coconuts and Belikin beers will be provided. After we share a few tears and we say "I do", we will all head back down to the main lodge for cocktails while the chef prepares dinner. After dinner we will enjoy a bonfire, drinks, music and late-night snacks to celebrate.

Let's be honest, it is going to be a rough morning. Join us for a non-mandatory breakfast/brunch on the main patio of the lodge. If you would like to stay another day please contact Tom and Katie ASAP so we can make proper arrangements.
