In case you didn't know... we got married on May 30!

The civil wedding took place where Thomas grew up and proposed, in Pornichet, France, by the ocean.

Our story started at ClaimCompass. Thank you Tanya, Alex, and Veli, for bringing us together <3 Did you know Thomas wasn't happy about Fatma's arrival at first? He quickly changed his mind...

We particularly bonded over volleyball. We would take a break during work to play in the nearby park. Fatma hitting harder than Thomas is a threat to his masculinity but we're still playing!

Our love was born in the city, but it was cemented on the road. And there was a lot of road, then and now.

We're in the taxi on our way to the airport so Thomas catches his flight to China. Does that look like people who only had a 'summer fling'?

Pandemic got us even closer, and paradoxically, we traveled more than ever. And experimented with styles. It's as if Fatma was already unhappy Thomas would put this picture on the wedding's website.

Thomas hates it when Fatma smiles when he tries to kiss her, because it's unpleasant to kiss teeth instead of lips. But we had a good time at the Jazz Festival in Bozcaada, Türkiye.

We were digital nomads before it was a thing. Now we've slowed down the pace, but the world is still our office. More or less.

We took to camping on our balcony during the pandemic. Thomas also set up the tent in the apartment.

Those daily drives on the gravel road to the beach and back to learn kitesurfing...

Tarifa is SUCH a big part of us it feels like we lived there for years, not months. We found a new family there <3

Fatma has this thing where she has to take a picture of us when we walk in front of a mirror in a new city.

We've also been known to be tourists, not only nomads.

Being nomads doesn't exactly mean we're minimalists either. We've been known to cross Europe with a fully packed car. At some point, we had to upgrade.

Fatma has the best laugh. She just does.

The trip to the 'Dune du Pilat' was our first van trip and confirmed we wanted to upgrade to a van of our own. By the way, Fatma climbed the dune like it was nothing. This woman is half donkey.

We needed a more recent picture, so here it is.

'Wolfie' is now part of our family. He's our mobile-home, for the weekend or more. And how French is a Frenchman with a baguette under his arm?

There is nothing to say about this picture. Fatma just finds us beautiful.

Weddings remind you how much you love someone, even when you're not the ones getting married. We hope you'll feel the love during ours!

Before going to the village square, there is a traditional ceremony in front of the house with some dances and food.

The so called "henna ceremony" also takes place in front of the house, right before the wedding evening in the village centre.

And it is usual to take a group picture at the end of the traditional wedding night, when everyone looks their best, sweaty and tired of dancing.
