If we could tell you one place to go, Gracie’s would be it! Absolutely delicious food, amazing pastries, and on point cocktails. It can get a little busy, so plan accordingly. Stephen’s recommendation: the breakfast sandwich and a mimosa Diane Elizabeth’s: bloody mary for the win :)

The Reed Street Bottle Shop

Excellent wine shop with a selection of liquor and mixers as well. Stephen couldn’t help himself, went in to “browse” and left with a case.

Hodge Podge Shop

This place is probably the most insane collection of random “antiques” and treasures (and some junk) you’ll ever find. Former film set designer owns the place and 100% never got rid of a single item. Satisfy your inner picker / hoarder for hours here. Also, you can pet a cat if that’s your thing.

E.N. Huyck Preserve

5052 Delaware Turnpike, Rensselaerville, NY 12147

The Preserve is open daily from dawn to dusk. Admission is free to hike the 12 miles of trails, picnic, fish (NYS license holders), and boat (non-motorized) on Lake Myosotis.
