Sand Harbor is Laura's personal happy place in Lake Tahoe. It's the perfect place to spend the day. It's a place with so much do. You can walk or ride a bike on the trail around the lake or make it a beach day! You can also rent kayaks and spend time on the water. You would need to drive there. It's about 45 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. This would be a great thing to do on Friday morning/afternoon. One thing to keep in mind is that this place can get really busy during the summer. The earlier you plan on exploring this spot, the better!

Heavenly Mountain Resort

If this is your first time visiting Lake Tahoe, taking the gondola at Heavenly is a must. It's the best way to see the whole lake. You can buy gondola tickets online or at the ticket box. Heavenly is very close to where all of our wedding festivities will be so this would be a convenient excursion that you will never forget. We are having our happy hour here on Thursday, 9/14, for those of you who get into town early! This place has a great atmosphere and is known for their wood-fired pizza and variety of craft beer. If you are unable to join for happy hour. You could always check this place out for lunch on Friday!
