Guests have a couple options to get to Hood River from the Portland airport, which is a 1-hour drive. 1 - Rental Car We recommend guests rent a car. While Hood River is a small town that is walkable, it is very hilly and there are attractions that require driving 10-20min outside of town. 2 - Taxi/Uber Uber from the airport to Hood River costs $90-$100 for the 1 hour ride. But Uber is not available in Hood River. 3 - Bus Buses run from Portland to Hood River multiple times a day for about $10. https://columbiagorgeexpress.com
