The Fort Worth Stockyards in Texas preserves the rich Western heritage of the whole region. Established in the 19th century as a hub for cattle drives, it now stands as a historic district where you can experience cowboy culture, watch cattle drives, visit rodeos, hear live music, and explore Western-themed shops and restaurants ** There is a large group of us going Friday afternoon and anyone is welcome to join us! See the "Schedule" tab for more details. If you are unable to go Friday, we definitely recommend checking it out Saturday or Monday!
One of the BEST Texas BBQ joints (*literally* across the street from Chad's house, lol!). This restaurant is very well known in the DFW area- to where celebrities will fly in just to eat here! There is always live music on the weekends! Highly recommended for anyone on the hunt for some good Texas BBQ! The owner also has a super cute Western themed coffee shop and ice cream shop right next door! (Marty B's Coffee and Marty B's Ice Cream)
