We recommend that you fly in Charlotte Douglas International Airport which is only a 15-20 minute drive to the Doubletree By Hilton Charlotte City Center.

You are more than welcome to stay on site of our reception at the Doubletree by Hilton Charlotte City Center hotel. We will have a room block reserved from arrival Thursday April 23rd to departure Sunday April 26th for those who want extra time to explore Charlotte. We will note that if you chose to drive or rent a car, parking on site of the hotel will be a $20 charge per night in the garage. Also, in addition to the King and Queen bed rooms, all rooms have the ability to get a rollaway bed to accommodate your party. See the link below to reserve a room. **If you do not see the type of room you're looking for available, do not fret as more rooms with each bed set up will be added periodically**

Should We Rent A Car?

Up to you! Uber and Lyfts are very popular with getting around and relatively less expensive than other cities given that Charlotte has an easy to navigate light rail system. The light rail can get you to many places of exploration within the city; however, if you want to check out Lake Norman, Crowder's Mountain, Lake Latta, or other nature exploration places outside of the city, we do recommend renting a car.
