By the time the wedding bells ring, Lauren and Rory will have been together for over 4 and a half years. Their paths first crossed at one of the first parties of freshmen year at Creighton University back in 2019. However, given COVID-19 and other factors, love didn't spark between them until the beginning of Junior Year, and soon became "officially dating" in October of 2021. Since then, Lauren and Rory have grown together through being each other's dates to greek life formals, sitting side by side at weekly mass, having many fun date nights out, experiencing new adventures through travel, spending holidays with one another's family, moving out of the midwest to Charlotte, North Carolina, and stepping into responsibility as new dog parents to Daisy Mae together. With each stage of their lives from being crazy college kids to eager young adults in a new city, Lauren and Rory have always continued to laugh daily, support each other's ambitions, and fall more in love each day. All to lead to October 26, 2024 at Lake Latta Nature Preserve, Rory proposed to Lauren who answered the easiest "Yes!" of her life. They are both confident that April 25, 2026 is only the start of to a beautiful, wonderful, adventurous life to come together.
