Block Island Ferry
The ferry departs out of Pt. Judith, Rhode Island (Narragansett). There are both slow/traditional ferries (55 minutes) and fast ferries (30 minutes). The slow ferry enables you to bring a vehicle. But the island is very walkable and there is limited parking so we don’t advise it. However, if you you do choose to bring your vehicle, please be advised it requires a separate reservation and the actual ferry tickets cannot be purchased until day of, but you are guaranteed to get on. Arrive at the ferry 30 to 45 minutes early to give yourself time to park and walk to the ferry. They are very prompt with their scheduled departures. Reminder: We recommend the 12:30 pm ferry to Block Island at the latest either day you plan to travel in order to make the welcome party Thursday or the wedding at 5 pm on Friday, respectively. As for the ferry home, brunch will be 9-11 am on Sunday so we recommend the 11:30 am or later departure. The ferry departs from the same parking lot as the brunch restaurant.
