The weather should be beautiful which is why this is the busiest time of the year in Sedona. Expect temperatures to be somewhere between 75 and 85 degrees during the day and cooler in the evenings! But with global warning - anything can happen.
Glad you asked! Traffic will be terrible in town as it is the busiest time of the year and only two main roads. (It's a small town). If you are not staying near the venue, PLEASE ALLOW TIME FOR TRAFFIC to and from events. It can literally take 20 minutes to go a few blocks and if you are staying up the canyon, allow even more time. If you are coming from the Phoenix airport on Friday, expect traffic to Sedona. Likewise, the traffic on Sunday afternoon to Phoenix may be tough as well. Allow extra time!
Check the 'attire' for the various events but the most important thing to remember is that everything is happening on grass, crushed granite or gravel. Leave your Manolo Blahniks at home! It should be warm during the day and cooler in the evenings so bring a jacket or a wrap. If you are going creekin' bring your water shoes. And don't forget your hiking shoes if you are hitting the trails!
