Gabi took a class called Twenty-Somethings: Exploring Millennial Culture in her last semester at NYU. After a happy hour with friends, she came home and tipsily began one of her last papers of her collegiate career to realize she had some past due required readings needed to finish the paper. She planned to skim a New York Times article from the Modern Love section titled "Let's Not Get To Know Each Other Better: Why Ruin Great Sex by Dating" and ended up reading it twice over. She wrote her paper on this piece and ended up searching the author's name on google to find more of their work to cite. His Facebook page popped up instead. She sent this message, "I'm a senior at NYU taking a class on millennials and your essay was required reading, which of course I didn't read until I needed source material for a paper. I'm glad I did. It's great and uplifting in the oddest sense. Thanks." As you probably know, it was Joel! Clearly...they chose to get to know each other better.
