Five years ago when the world faced an unprecedented period of time that changed our outlook on life. Amid the challenges and uncertainty of the pandemic, as everyone was navigating a new reality, love was the last thing on Meredith and Jordan’s minds. Who would’ve thought from a click of a button, a love story would spark! MARCH 2020 It all started when Meredith's not-so-homebody self decided to get a dating app to see what it was about. After a few days on the app, along came a message from Jordan. App messages moved to texts. Texts moved to phone calls. Then phone calls led to video chat. Moving on, a few weeks later, they secretly (and nervously) met up. At that time, Meredith's graduate school transitioned to online and Jordan remained to work from home. Of course, during pandemic times, they were both cautious and finally decided on a day to meet up. Their very first meet up or date if you will, the two ordered poke takeout and ate in the car *just imagine the limited space and awkward angles* Afterwards, Mere was on a puzzle kick (one of her various lockdown activities) so she made an excuse to go to the store so she can continue to hang out with Jordan. She got her puzzle and they went their separate ways. SUMMER 2020 After frequent video chats and covid friendly dates later, life felt right with one another and knew there was something special between them. On July 11, 2020, Jordan and Meredith's journey flourished. Fast Forward to JUNE 2024 A few weeks before Jordan's birthday, Mere was brainstorming and asking Jordan what he would like to do for his birthday. Jordan is someone who goes with the flow or is just down to do anything. However, this time around, he wanted to do a weekend trip to Lake Chelan. Chelan is a special place for them, so when Jordan suggested it, Mere didn't want to think much of it and went on with the plan - after all it was his birthday! While Mere was planning Jordan’s birthday weekend, Jordan was planning to propose. One afternoon during their park day, Mere suddenly turned around and saw Jordan on one knee. Without hesitation, Mere said "YES!". To her surprise, her sister and mom were behind the scenes and captured it all! JULY 2026 Enjoying our engagement has us wanting to celebrate with our people where it all started. On July 25, 2026, we would be honored to have you join us as we celebrate our wedding and are looking forward to having so much fun and making memories with you!
