Maid of Honor
Susan and Jane met in Northern Ireland at the local church's youth club in 2002. They've been constant companions ever since and are now both settled in London with their respective poodle pups, Pepper the Cockapoo (Susan) and Ruby the Cavapoo (Jane). Aside from their pups, their joint passion is most definitely travelling! Together they have travelled around the world to France, Spain, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Czech Republic, USA, South Africa, Canada, Thailand, Vietnam, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong and Malaysia - to name a few!
Bené Wright
Best Man
Bené and Paul met when the boys were around 9 years old and lived across the road from each other in Coulsdon. They were forever getting up to mischief and have remained great friends since, subsequently living together for a number of years in Epsom which Paul considers some of his best! Bené has been a great support to Paul and Jane recently, designing their Kitchen renovation plans at No. 174 and they are really grateful for all his help!
Kristen Whitla
Maid of Honor
Kristen and Susan are not only joint Maid of Honours, but also twins! Kristen and Jane met at the same youth club in 2002 and Kristen also lives in London, having returned in recent years from living and working in Hungary and Hong Kong. Kristen and Jane are equally inseparable and have spent many an occasion testing out restaurants and bars they find in London on Instagram together!
Chris Amster
Best Man
Chris and Paul met at St Bede's School in Redhill with a number of other attendees at the wedding. Chris has been an invaluable support and help to Paul over the years and also recently, helping them design (as architect) their house renovation plans. Chris also helped co-organise Paul's stag with Ben, which we hope (and pray) he comes back from in one piece!
Sarah Crooks
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Jane met at secondary school in 2000 and formed part of the "MCB girls". Sarah has been an invaluable support and source of fun for Jane over the years from dubious nicknames, infamous trips to Dublin, fancy dress nights out in their teens to the now mellower catch up coffees and lunches when Jane is home in Northern Ireland.
Ian Miles
Groomsman
Ian and Paul met at St Bede's but didn't become close until they left school. They have remained great friends since and Paul is Godfather to one of Ian's beautiful little boys, Jamie.
Anushka Nayak
Bridesmaid
Anushka ("Nush") and Jane met at their first job as trainee lawyers in 2012. They grew very close on a six month secondment to the firm's Prague office and have remained very close since. One of Jane's favourite pastimes is leaving Nush ten minute voice notes on Whatsapp, much to Nush's despair.
Matthew Tunbridge
Groomsman
Paul and Matthew have grown up together as cousins. Some of Paul's fondest memories are spending holidays with Matthew at their Nan and Grandad's caravan and getting up to no good. Paul's mum distinctly remembers the time they turned up together back at the caravan sheepishly. Paul, a normal colour. Matthew, a green tinge having fallen (been pushed by Paul....?) into the nearby pond.
Nermina Ferizovic
Bridesmaid
Nermina and Jane met at Manchester University when they were placed in the same halls of residence. They have remained firm friends since, enjoying cooking and drinking cocktails together and have travelled frequently with one another, most recently to Canada and Poland.
Simon Faircloth
Groomsman
Simon and Paul met as teenagers whilst playing football at Chipstead Football Club. They both have remained great friends since, with Paul acting as Usher (to clarify, not the singer...) at Simon's wedding.
Holly Bergin
Bridesmaid
Holly (Paul's sister) and Jane met via Paul, of course! They get on like a house on fire and Jane couldn't ask for a better sister-in-law. They've enjoyed the odd weekend and holiday away together as well as theatre and dinner trips in between!
Kieran Murphy
Groomsman
Kieran was part of the same St Bede's crew as Chris and Ian. Kieran and Paul have remained close since, regularly playing golf and poker together at the weekends. One of Paul's favourite pastimes is trying (and often failing...) to beat Kiran at golf.
