Leavenworth Snowmobile Tours
Looking for something adventurous to do while you're on-site at Mountain Springs Lodge? Book a snowmobile tour for Friday afternoon or Saturday morning!
Plain Valley Ski Trails
Cross country skiing, right in the town of Plain, just half a mile down the road from Mountain Springs Lodge. This would be a great Saturday mid-morning activity. They offer lessons (reservable ahead of time) as well as rental gear that you can reserve and pick up from Plain Hardware (https://www.plainhardware.com/)
Blackbird Island
Located just south of the main downtown area of Leavenworth's shopping area and restaurants, along the Wenatchee river. Enjoy the 2 mile loop trail around Blackbird Island, with signs along the way telling about the Flora and Fauna. A great place to take a break, watch the river water run past, and listen to the birds.
Mana Restaurant (Formerly: The Wedding Haus)
Now home to a brand new organic restaurant, this cute little cottage was once known as 'The Wedding Haus', where Tessa's parents got married over 20 years ago. Needless to say, there is some family history of love and weddings here in Leavenworth.

Downtown Leavenworth is full of tasting rooms. A few of our favorites: -Patterson Cellars -Obelisco Winery -Goose Ridge Winery
Breweries
Interested in trying some local craft beer? Here are 3 of our favorite breweries located downtown: -Blewitt Brewing: great beer and as an added bonus, they also serve pizza if you're hungry. -Icicle Brewing: the largest of the bunch, a great place to grab a beer & a burger. -Doghaus Brewing: the teeniest of the bunch, tucked away in a downstairs corner of the Loge hotel, with about 10 seats total. We love this spot because we can always bring Phinney.

Yodelin Broth Company and Beer Garden
Soups, rice bowls, salads all house-made with local ingredients.
Old Mill Cafe
The one and only restaurant in Plain that is located less than a mile down the road from Mountain Springs Lodge. Owned by a couple originally from Texas, they serve BBQ from their open Smokehouse for lunch and dinner, plus breakfast on the weekends.
