You will be able to see the Cherry Blossoms blooming during the weekend! Enjoy them, they are such a blessing of peace for the world to view. A gift from Japan!:)
The Smithsonian Museums are open to the public (must wear masks) and the mall with all the monuements are all open to view! It can take an entire day to see all of these on the mall, and we'd recommend spending SOME time in a few museums -- trust me, you can get lost in these for hours if you want! Enjoy it. Our favorite monument is WW2 for sunset.
If you need a little yoga for the weekend, help out Katie's local (virtual only right now) yoga studio! They have a great mysore program, and many others. http://www.bluebirdskyyoga.com/
On Sunday, if you find the chance to get away or want to enjoy some drum beats, this park has had a drum circle every year (for like 60+ years) and they drum until sunset! Enjoy.
Our favorite Eritrean Food place. Period. Get the Karen Special and you'll feast (2-3 people can share 1 order).
Our favorite Peruvian restaurant. Period. An entire chicken meal that serves many for a great price (like $25-$35 pending sides)
Great mindful grocery store we like to get local products @, super thoughtful and they also have bomb healthy foods you can get on the go too!
BOMB local farm to table restaurant-- a bit pricey-- but worth it.
Dope pizza.... legit ya'll.
We've got a lot of local breweries - this one is legit.
SO GOOOOOD. Korean BBQ. Yummmm.
Local bar, quirky, one of our favorites and has great outdoor seating too. Parking available.
If music is open, this place is the BEST for music, and next door there is Bossa which is equally rad. Don't like one of them? Easy to go next door to the other. Cover charges.
This is a beautiful national park, and if you get to hike go check it out!
Check out the bonsai exhibits!:) and you can spend hours and hours walking around in here- it’s gigantic!
