The ceremony begins at 4.30pm sharp. Villa Howden will close the gates at 4.15pm. Guests who arrive after this time will have to wait until the ceremony concludes to enter
Unfortunately, if the person's name isn't already loaded in your RSVP when you type your name in, we can't save a seat for them. Villa Howden is an elopement venue and is pretty strict limit on numbers - we're stretching it already with our family and close friends!
While we adore our younger relatives and children of our friends, Villa Howden is not a particularly child-safe venue. Babies who are not yet walking are welcome but we cannot risk any little humans running off into the bush or the bay.
Villa Howden is located 15 minutes drive from the Hobart CBD. Hobart locals strongly recommend not relying on Uber or taxis to get from our recommended hotels to the venue. We are grateful Anne and John have offered a coach for guests to travel to the venue and avoid the sleepy town vibes of the taxi industry: The bus will depart XXXX at 3.15pm. XXXX is walking distance from our recommended hotels The bus will make one return trip to Hobart, departing Villa Howden at 11.45pm after the ceremony and drop all passengers at XXXX
If you choose to drive, Villa Howden has limited streetside parking past the driveway entrance next to the estate wall. We have hired a bus to help you make your way from the CBD to the villa.
