We met in July 2019, just two weeks after Tanya moved to San Francisco. It was at work, where Milad held the title of the only person who didn’t say hi to the new girl for 2 weeks (ok mr mysterious). Our first real conversation happened during a work community day packing food for kids, and to everyone’s surprise (especially our colleague Janis), we instantly clicked... as homies. What started as a friendship turned into five years of shenanigans. We navigated a pandemic, became parents (of a cute dog called Pinot), and survived two years of long distance while Tanya moved to LA to chase traffic and Erewhon smoothies. Eventually, we found our way back to each other in the Bay, and now here we are. Still laughing, still in love, still making fun of each other, and making it official. In the early days of our relationship, we went on a trip to Hawaii and spent a month there together, in our own little world. That time became a special part of our story, and now we’ve come full circle. We couldn’t think of a more meaningful place to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love.
