Small but fascinating look at Skokomish history with a lot of weaving artifacts and replicas, as well as carvings, hooks, and other tools.
Nice trails over creeks that feed into Hood Canal.
If you bring your dog and need a place to romp, or you are missing your dog and need to see some romp, go here. Fred loves it.
Decent, casual seafood restaurant on the water. There's a shop with trinkets.
Boat ramp, public beach (covered in oysters and barnacles), trails. Discovery Pass required for state parks and available at the park.
Fun small town dive bar. Jim almost lost his arm in an arm wrestling tilt against a man named Ashley who wore a very tight pink polo and when asked "will you arm wrestle our friend for his bachelor party" Ashley did not even look at our group before saying, "Yes." But Jim won a sex toy from the bartenders for being a good sport about us hazing him for hours.
Take a walk in the wetlands.
Never been. Imagine it's cool.
Fun golf course with 27 holes (18-hole and a 9-hole that can be combined with 9 from the other full course). Steven hates it here. Caleb once quit by the 12th hole and was ready to fight the group in front that was playing slow and hit into them.
Fun executive 9-hole course up in the Olympic mountain range foothills. Derek lost his phone here.
Fishing, hiking trails, and nature in the Olympic mountain range foothills.
Campground if that's your thing.
Alderbrook Resort has canoes, kayaks, hydrobikes, pedal boats, party barges, motor boats, and stand up paddleboards for rental to the public (no reservation or room at the resort required).
If you have the gamble in you, you already know about this.
You can rent and race go-karts on a serious outdoor track.
Have meant to do this for a while but hasn't worked out. Could be fun if you like exercise, natural and industrial history of Washington state, and/or the book and movie "Train Dreams."
