Wedding Ceremony

Semi-formal attire requested because, you know, it's a wedding and ideally the only one of which we will be the focal point. We welcome you to dress for the weather, dancing, and some leisurely lawn games as well.
Please keep phones away and be present with us during the ceremony. I (Ben) will not be cool if a phone rings or is pulled out for some shaky zoomed in photo or video. It is ok for some moments to be ephemeral. Plus, we will have a paid photographer there to do the bulk of the official visual capturing of the evening. Additionally, other than the first couple of rows marked off for family to sit, please push in close and sit on either side. No need for bride and groom's sides (but if you must choose a side, choose wisely and know that we will notice to whom you pledge your fealty).
Cocktail Hour & Reception

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses, and so are nice dress pants and shirts with a tie. Cargo pants and shorts can go right into the trash.
After the ceremony, enjoy the company of old friends and make at least one new acquaintance during the cocktail hour. We offer draught beer courtesy of our friends Jake & Kaitlin Gobeille, owners of Beach Cat Brewing in Blaine/Bellingham and Mick Daly, head brewer of Metier Brewing in Woodinville/Seattle, as well as a selection of vinho verde, rosés, and other wines. Additionally, a signature cocktail, the azalea via Augusta National Golf Course and The Masters, of vodka, lemonade, and grenadine, will be available. Some light bites will be on platters for you to nibble on while we await the buffet dinner. Inside the clubhouse, find your assigned tables for dinner. In honor of Seattle's marquee food and one of our favorite meals, the chef and kitchen staff are preparing chicken teriyaki, tofu teriyaki, rice, and other dishes. A handful of prepared toasts will be spoken. Dancing. Cake! Dancing (redux). Farewell.

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
Assuming we will all be a little worn from a weekend to rival the Ancient Greek bacchanalias with sore feet, delicate stomachs, aching grins, and raspy voices, come as you are so that we may fete you as our most beloved people who have enriched our lives beyond measure.
