JFK | LGA | EWR
JFK, LGA, or EWR are the closest airports to the city and about equidistance. JFK will be easiest to fly in and out of if you plan on taking public transportation to and from the airport.
Train
Getting Around NYC
The subway is a great affordable way to get around the city and we'd recommend downloading the CityMapper app for the easiest way to find your way around. The app will tell you the ideal spot to enter/exit the subway station closest to your destination as well as if there are any expected delays/maintenance which is common on the weekend. If you have ApplePay on your phone/watch you can tap to pay at most subway stations and don't need to purchase a metro card. The closest Subway stops to Houston Hall are: Houston Street from the 1 train or Spring Street from the C and E train Yellow Cabs are also a great option! A few tips- make your way to a main Street/Avenue already going the direction you are heading before you hail the car and download the Arro app to pay from your phone once in the cab. Uber/Lyft are also great options and easiest to get directly to your destination without hassle. They can be a bit pricy but if the weather is poor, the most convenient option.
