Flight
We recommend flying into either New York City, White Plains (New York) or Hartford, (Connecticut). NYC area airports include LaGuardia (LGA), Newark (EWR) and John F. Kennedy (JFK). The NYC airports will certainly be the best option for those of you flying in internationally, and will have ample options for every other origin as well. From any of the three NYC airports, you can either rent a car and drive to Westport, which is about an 80 minute drive. Alternatively, you can take the train (Metro-North Railroad - New Haven Line) from Grand Central Station directly to Norwalk or Westport, which is about the same amount of time. Please see the section below for more information about taking the Metro-North railroad from NYC to Westport or Norwalk.
Flight
The airport in White Plains is the Westchester County Airport (HPN). This airport is certainly the closest to the venue, being only a 30-40 minute drive to Westport/Norwalk. However we would recommend renting a car or taking an Uber from this airport, as public transportation is not very feasible from White Plains.
Flight
The airport in Hartford is the Bradley International Airport (BDL). From Hartford, it is about a 60 minute drive to Westport and we would recommend renting a car (or taking an Uber, if necessary) from Hartford, as public transportation from Hartford is not so feasible.
Train
For those traveling from the NYC area, you can take the train directly to Westport and/or Norwalk from Grand Central Station. The train is the Metro-North Railroad and the New Haven Line stops at both Norwalk and Westport. The train ride to both stops is approximately 70-80 minutes, and from the train station, it is only a 10-15 minute Uber ride to the hotels or to the venue. Tickets for Metro-North from Grand Central to Norwalk/Westport cost ~$17-18 one way and can be purchased in advance by downloading the Train Time app to your phone (https://new.mta.info/traintime). Train schedules can be found at https://new.mta.info/schedules.
