Compo Beach A longtime family favorite for the Sveens – Compo is a great beach during the day and evening alike! Just a heads up that parking at Compo does require a fee, so we recommend using rideshare! Sheffield Island Lighthouse This incredibly cool lighthouse is dates back to 1868 and is just a short ferry ride away! You can get a tour of the lighthouse and climb to the top, where on a clear day, you can see a view of the Manhattan skyline! Westport Longshore Club Park If you recognize the name Longshore, that is because the Inn at Longshore is our wedding venue and we will all be there on Sunday! However, in the meantime, Longshore has a range of other activities, including tennis, sailing, paddle boarding, golf and swimming!
Downtown Westport Head to downtown Westport (Post Road, Main Street) for a variety of shops and stores, and many wonderful restaurants! You can walk along the Saugatuck River and see all of Westport’s historic buildings (including the former YMCA where Emma used to do ballet and swim team, which has since been converted to an Anthropologie!) SoNo (South Norwalk) Another excellent, waterfront district in Norwalk, which is a local go-to for eclectic dining, arts (including galleries and museums), shopping and entertainment. Scandinavian Butik Located adjacent to Hotel Zero Degrees, this gem of a find has all of your favorite Scandinavian food, candy and design! Westport Farmers Market A wonderful Farmer's Market, founded by Paul Newman in 2006! The Westport Farmer's Market is only open on Thursdays, so this is a great option for any guests who will be arriving a bit early!

Spotted Horse Tavern A favorite for Nick and Emma! New American restaurant in downtown Westport serving contemporary pub food in a restored Federal house. Little Barn A rustic, chic new American restaurant in a restored barn building, featuring a large outdoor patio and live music. Sakura An oldie but a goodie! This long-standing Japanese sushi bar and hibachi restaurant was Emma’s childhood go-to for several childhood birthday parties. Nômade A popular spot in downtown Westport, featuring worldwide farm-to-table cuisine in a space decorated by globally renowned artists. Known for great cocktails and its eclectic menu. bartaco Located along the Saugatuck River, this spot offers unique tacos (such as oyster or wild boar), combined with a variety of cocktails in a beachy space with a waterfront patio.
