Suzy's mom, Kathy Goldenkranz, poured her energy and her heart into fulfilling a dream for the Santa Cruz County Boys and Girls Club: a clubhouse facility in Live Oak, an underserved area of the county. Kathy was a lifelong advocate of creating opportunities for children, particularly focusing her efforts on those from underprivileged backgrounds. As President, Kathy drove every step of the process, from finding the land, to raising the necessary funds, to hiring an architect and builders, and on. In 2015, the clubhouse opened, and has been providing activities and programs for the children of Live Oak ever since--including the opportunity to cook in "Kathy's Kitchen," a teaching kitchen named in her memory. We will forever be proud of all that Kathy achieved, and we ask you to consider making a donation to the Santa Cruz County Boys and Girls Club, and help continue her legacy.
